Dairy Food Safety & Quality Train-the-Trainer Continuing Education Series

Free Continuing Education programs for veterinarians, consultants and farm advisors on dairy food safety and quality will be offered by UC Davis in four locations. Seven clock hours of CE will be awarded for veterinarians and for ARPAS members. In addition to information on meat and milk safety, veterinarians and farm advisors will be given helpful insights on conducting client meetings, giving presentations, and providing training for their dairy clients and farm labor. The basis of the program will be materials from DairyBeef: Maximizing Quality & Profits and milk safety and quality programs. Complete Trainer’s CDs will be provided to each participant (over $25 value). Lunch included. Pick the location closest to you or the date that fits you best.

This program will provide the practitioner with the tools and knowledge needed to evaluate on-farm clinical trials, critically read clinical trial reports and literature, and set up a dairy farm-based clinical trial of their own.
